“Surge” detectors

The Washington Post recently ran  a front page article claiming that the increased “surge” of American troops in Iraq is working and the Iraqi insurgency is in its last throes.

Their source? A couple of Iraqi Bloggers “widely respected for their straight talk.”

Forgive me if I’m not quite impressed.
